Wendy Magill

Your Counsellor

Wendy Magill began her teaching with a Degree in Education from Queensland University of Technology majoring in Dance and Drama teaching (Secondary) and completed Post Graduate studies in Arts Education from Deakin University (Vic) majoring in Art and Music education.

Wendy taught in Queensland Secondary schools from 1991 - 2006 including a time in London teaching Children with Disabilities. 

Since becoming a mother in 2000 Wendy moved to Primary School Education with The Arts, Special Education, Inclusive Education Practices and general classrooms across Prep-Yr 6.

Wendy is a Radiant Light Yoga Teacher (2012) and has completed a Diploma of Counselling through Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors. (2022) with a special interest in Expressive Therapies. She believes people can clarify their thoughts and set real goals for change when they are engaged in an activity which draws full focus and commitment to the task.
